This April two of our members were invited to deliver a workshop around Theatre of the Oppressed to a group of young activists as part of the Young Friends of the Earth Network meet-up in Scotland. In the workshop we explored a range of techniques including games, image theatre and some newspaper theatre. The themes explored and the ideas expressed highlighted how powerful Theatre of the Oppressed can be as a tool for dialogue which gets beyond words and 'statements'. Here's some of the things we captured from the day: Thanks to our friends at Active Enquiry for sharing the opportunity with us.
